My current standard base quote is $1600 for a track frameset (frame+fork+basic powdercoat) and $1800 road/cyclocross frameset (also frame+fork+basic powdercoat). As with everything else in custom frames, pricing varies with tubing, riding style/needs and extra bits (internal cable routing seems to be the favorite). The options are nearly endless. I lean towards building forks for all the bikes I build, but I am using Edge Composites forks now as well. Olympic Powdercoat has been doing a great job on my frames, and for now I’m happy to continue sending bikes there. Wet paint is always an option as well!

I’ve used mostly True Temper tubing in my frames, but don’t want to restrict myself to any one thing. I really try to stick to them when I can though because it is distrubuted locally and made in the US. I am also fond of the Henry James lugs after working with several different options. One of my favorite things about bicycles is their low impact on our surroundings, and making custom bikes shouldn’t be any different.
